WoW Trading Post Guide: This Month's Transmogs, Pets, Mounts, Toys and Free Rewards
5 min read
The Trading Post is World of Warcraft's monthly rotating shop, and it refreshes on the first of every month with a new batch of mounts, pets, transmog and a free bonus reward. You pay for everything with Trader's Tender, a currency you earn just by playing, not with gold and not with real money. This page covers what's in the shop right now, plus everything you need to know about how the system works. We keep it updated as each new month goes live.
This month: July 2026

July's Trading Post is Season 42, themed "Extravaganza," running a bold blue palette of fireworks and rockets alongside a returning set of Forsaken and banshee items. Everything is bought with Trader's Tender except the free Traveler's Log mount. Here's the full stock.
Mounts and pets

The two rocket mounts anchor the month. The Bilgewater is free from the Traveler's Log, the Blackwater is the priciest shop item at 700 Tender.

What to grab first
You get up to 1,000 Tender a month (500 free plus up to 500 from activities), so you can't buy everything. The priority order most months looks like this: fill the Traveler's Log for the free Bilgewater mount first since it costs no Tender and leaves at month end, then spend on the one big-ticket item you actually want (the Blackwater rocket or the banshee set at 700), then mop up cheap 50-Tender pieces with whatever's left. Anything you can't afford, freeze it and save your Tender, since it rolls over.
How the Trading Post works
Everything below is permanent, so if you already know the system, skip back up to this month's rewards.
Where to find it. Visit Tawney and Wilder outside the Mage District in Stormwind, or the Zen'shiri Trading Post next to Grommash Hold in Orgrimmar. There are also Trading Post locations in Dornogal on the Isle of Dorn and in the renewed Silvermoon City, with both factions' representatives available.
How you get Tender. At the start of every month, any account in good standing gets 500 Trader's Tender automatically from the Collector's Cache. If you're not subscribed at the exact start of the month, you get it the first day you log in with active game time. It's the same 500 for everyone regardless of how you pay.
Earning up to 500 more. The Traveler's Log, found in the Adventure Guide (Shift-J), lists a rotating set of monthly activities worth up to 500 additional Tender. You do not have to complete all of them, there's a cap, so you pick the easiest ones and stop once the bar is full. Activities are things you'd do anyway: quests, battlegrounds, holiday events, Mythic+ dungeons, plus a few designed specifically for that month.
Filling the bar unlocks the bonus mount. Completing enough of the log to fill the Traveler's Log bar awards that month's bonus reward, almost always an exclusive mount, at no Tender cost. This is the reward most worth chasing each month because it's free and it leaves when the month ends.
Freezing and saving. If you can't afford a must-have item before the month ends, you can freeze one item to keep it available in future months until you buy it. Unspent Tender never expires either, it rolls over and accumulates, so you can bank several months of Tender for an expensive future item.
Can you buy Trading Post Tender or the mounts?
No. Trader's Tender cannot be bought with gold or real money, and Trading Post mounts are not tradeable or purchasable through any boosting service, ours included. Anyone claiming to sell Trading Post Tender or its exclusive mounts is misrepresenting the system. The only way to earn Tender is by playing.
What we can help with is the playing part. Most of the Traveler's Log activities that fill your bar each month, the Mythic+ runs, the rated PvP wins, the raid clears, are exactly the content KingBoost boosts. If the reason you're not filling your log is that the M+ or PvP activities are the wall, a boost clears those while also getting you the rating rewards, gear and mounts that do come from that content. So the Trading Post bonus mount ends up being a side benefit of the boost, not something we sell directly.
FAQ
HOW DO YOU GET THE FREE MOUNT FROM THE TRADING POST EACH MONTH?
Fill the Traveler's Log bar in the Adventure Guide (Shift-J) by completing that month's activities. Filling the bar awards the monthly bonus mount at no Tender cost. It's only available during that month, so complete it before the reset.
HOW MUCH TENDER CAN YOU EARN PER MONTH?
Up to 1,000. You get 500 automatically from the Collector's Cache at the start of the month, and up to 500 more from Traveler's Log activities. There's a cap on the earnable Tender, so you don't have to finish every activity.
DOES TRADER'S TENDER EXPIRE?
No. Unspent Tender rolls over month to month and accumulates with no cap, so you can save up for an expensive item across several months.
CAN YOU BUY TRADING POST TENDER OR MOUNTS?
No. Tender is earned only by playing and cannot be purchased with gold or real money, and the exclusive mounts are not tradeable. Any service claiming to sell them directly is not legitimate.
WHAT IS THE FREEZE FEATURE?
If you can't afford a specific item before the month ends, you can freeze one item to keep it in stock for you in future months until you buy or replace it.
