Buy World Boss Lairs: Nymrissa Wavecaller Down

Lairs are the shortest route to raid-track gear in the game. One boss, one lockout, a Great Vault slot and Mistcrests, without committing an evening to a full clear. Nymrissa Wavecaller sits at the bottom of the Tidebound Grotto and drops gear on the same tracks the Venomous Abyss uses.

World bosses are group content wearing a solo boss's clothing. Pugging one means waiting for a raid to form, hoping nobody leaves halfway and taking whatever loot rules the group leader felt like setting. KingBoost's team handles the kill on the difficulty you pick, and everything that drops, along with the Vault progress, Mistcrests and gold, stays on your character.

One lair is one lockout, and the raid is where the rest of the week's gear sits. The Venomous Abyss + Tidebound Grotto Bundle covers all nine bosses in one order, and The Venomous Abyss Full Gear fills every slot rather than counting kills. If the tier bonus is what you actually want, Venomous Abyss Tier Sets targets those five slots directly.

YOU WILL GET

  • Selected World Boss defeated
  • Chance at high ilvl gear based on difficulty
  • Raid-related achievements obtained
  • All gold and loot obtained during the boost
  • Great Vault rewards
  • Normal: 292 ilvl Champion gear
  • Heroic: 305 ilvl Hero gear
  • Mythic: 318 ilvl Myth gear

LOOT OPTIONS EXPLAINED

GROUP LOOT

Standard loot rules. You raid alongside other customers and everyone rolls on drops together. Expect 1-2 items on average depending on luck. Good option if you mainly care about boss kills, Great Vault progress, Dawncrests and whatever gear happens to drop your way.

UNSAVED GROUP LOOT (LOOT SHARE 10PPL / 15PPL)

The raid is filled with our boosters who haven't used their lockout yet that week. First run of the reset, no cooldown. Each unsaved character has a chance to receive loot from every boss. More fresh characters in the group means more chances for items to drop per kill, which means better odds that something usable lands for you. Drops aren't guaranteed per character though so the volume varies from run to run. The 10-player version is the budget pick, you should expect to receive 2 loot items. 15-player stacks the odds higher and gets you 3 loot items, so we recommend that one.

FULL PRIORITY

You get first pick on everything. Not just your armor type but rings, trinkets, weapons, cloaks, all of it. Same unsaved character scaling applies. More boosters on fresh lockouts means more chances for loot to drop per boss and every single piece goes to you first.

NO LOOT/VAULT RUN (BOSSES KILLS ONLY)
Every drop gets passed. You're in the run for the boss kills and nothing else. Great Vault Mythic slots stack up from each kill, Dawncrests land on your account and your kill progress gets logged. This makes pugging the same bosses significantly easier down the line since raid groups can see you've cleared the content before. Best option for players who don't need loot right now but want a clean Mythic progression record on their account and a stacked Vault at the weekly reset.

  • We will highly appreciate it if you leave a review on our Trustpilot page!
WHAT MAKES A LAIR DIFFERENT FROM A NORMAL WORLD BOSS?
Chevron

Difficulty options and better loot. A lair boss runs on the same difficulty ladder as the raid rather than being a single tap-and-loot encounter, so the gear scales with what you order rather than being fixed.

DOES THE KILL COUNT TOWARD MY GREAT VAULT?
Chevron

Yes. It feeds the raid row of your Vault alongside anything else you clear that week, which is a large part of why a lair kill is worth doing even in a week you have no time for the full raid.

CAN I DO THIS ALONGSIDE THE VENOMOUS ABYSS?
Chevron

Yes, they are separate lockouts and both feed the same Vault row. That is exactly what the combined bundle exists for, and it works out cheaper than ordering the two apart.

WHAT DO I ACTUALLY WALK AWAY WITH?
Chevron

Whatever drops from the kill, the Vault slot progress, Mistcrests toward your upgrade tracks, any lair achievements that fire, and the gold. All of it stays on your character.
