The Unbinding of Kith’ix is the single boss raid of Patch 12.1.5, and its loot table punches far above its size. Each cantrip deals shadow damage to all nearby enemies, and Venomcursed gear from Ula’tek empowers it. One Venomcursed item is enough to trigger the bonus, and wearing more raises the chance.

How the Kith’ix fight works
Kith’ix fights alongside his Voidswarm. At 100 energy he casts Suffocating Darkness, and Lady Liadrin holds the darkness back while she charges Divine Radiance. At 25% health Stygian Howl stuns the raid and Liadrin frees you with Last Light. From there, the raid races to kill Kith’ix before Eightfold Eclipse ends the fight. Mythic runs with a flexible group of 15 to 25 players.
What to do first
- Kill Kith’ix every week on every difficulty you can, since one boss means one short clear.
- Spend Nebulous Voidcores on Kith’ix for a guaranteed item from his table.
- Pair a cantrip piece with Venomcursed gear to empower it.
- Push Heroic and Mythic once Venomstones unlock, since every Heroic and Mythic kill can drop one.
