Aion 2 basics
Aion 2 is a free to play MMORPG from NCSOFT, and the global version launched on October 5, 2026. You play as a Daeva on one of two factions, Elyos or Asmodians, across a world built around flight, action combat and faction war in the Abyss.
The level cap is 45 for Season 1. Heroic rarity gear stays out of Season 1 entirely, crafted versions included, so progression runs through the gear tiers below it.
How to level fast in Aion 2
The Main Story is the fastest route to the cap. It unlocks new regions, activities and progression systems as you go, so push it first and use side content only when you need extra power
- Follow the Main Story. It opens the systems you need and moves you through regions at the right pace
- Spend every Skill Point and Daevanion Point. Unspent points leave your character weaker than its level
- Use Region Missions on purpose. Do the ones that pay gear or permanent upgrades, and skip the rest
- Run Sealed Dungeons when you stall. They pay gear, enhancement materials and Daevanion resources
- Use wind paths for travel. They cover long distances without draining your flight power
Aion 2 expedition unlock levels
Expeditions are the main group dungeons, and they open as you level. Each one takes 1 to 5 players

Run each expedition as it unlocks. They are the main source of repeatable group gear, and Fire Temple weapons carry many players into the level 45 content
Systems to learn while you level
Stigmas are build defining skills that let your class specialise in damage, defence, healing or control. You run 4 at a time. Build one PvE setup and upgrade it, rather than spreading materials across every Stigma
Daevanion is a skill board that adds permanent stats and skill ranks. It is one of the biggest sources of power in the game, so spend its points as soon as you earn them
Item Level gates access to content, while Combat Power shows your overall strength across gear, skills, Stigmas and Daevanion. Track both before you join harder groups
Aion 2 currencies

Spend Odyle Energy on content with a strong reward pool, and keep a Kinah reserve while early Market prices settle. Weapons come first when you spend Enhancement Stones
Activities to plan around
Solo content covers Sealed Dungeons, Nightmare Dungeons, Daily Dungeons and Awakening Battles. Group content runs from Expeditions to Transcendence, Eradication and the large group Sanctuary. PvP spans the Arena, Battlefield, Rifts, the Abyss and open world fights against the other faction

What to do in your first week
- Pick your faction and server with friends. Your faction decides allies and enemies in every PvP mode
- Push the Main Story to 45. Every major system opens along the way
- Learn dodge timing early. Action combat rewards it more than item level
- Build one PvE Stigma setup. Upgrade it before you start a second
- Run every expedition as it unlocks. Krao Cave at 20 is your first repeatable gear source
- Clear daily and weekly content first. Limited rewards beat open world farming
- Hold your Kinah. Early Market prices settle after launch week
Levelling to 45 is the longest stretch of the first week, and Aion 2 Powerlevelling takes your character straight there. Once you arrive, Aion 2 Daily Dungeons and Aion 2 Sealed Dungeons keep your gear climbing, and Aion 2 Kinah covers every upgrade along the way.
