Aion 2 hidden cubes are small reward chests tucked across the open world, and they pay out Soul Crystals, Silentium, skins, an emote and the Radiant Love Wings. What are hidden cubes in Aion 2
Hidden cubes are glowing cube shaped chests placed in the open world. They never show on the world map or the minimap, so you find them by eye. Opening one takes a 4 second channel, and each cube can only be opened once before it despawns. Whoever finishes the channel first takes the reward, so open a cube as soon as you find it
Each cube spawns at one of several possible spots, which is why two players can find the same cube in different places. Some cubes also sit underwater, so check riverbeds and lakeshores when a land search comes up empty
How many hidden cubes are in Aion 2
Aion 2 has 206 hidden cubes across four field maps

Poeta, Ishalgen and the Abyss have no hidden cubes. Elyos players get 121 cubes across their maps and Asmodians get 85
Best zones for hidden cubes
Cubes cluster in a few zones on each map. Start with these

Eltnen and Morheim are compact, with most of their cubes in just three zones each. Verteron and Altgard spread their cubes widely, so pick up the single cubes while you quest instead of making a dedicated trip for them
Cubes hide in spots that look decorative. Check cliff ledges you can only reach by gliding, ruins, rooftops, camp structures, haystacks, the space behind waterfalls and flooded tunnels
Do you need a key to open hidden cubes
It depends on the map. Every cube in Verteron and Altgard needs a Key: Hidden Cube to open, so carry keys before you hunt there. Cubes in Eltnen and Morheim can spawn as a regular cube that opens for free, or you can spend a key on it for the better reward table
The two cube types look different in game. Gold cubes open for free, while red cubes need a key
How to get Hidden Cube keys
Keys are bound, stack to 100 and cannot be traded. These are the sources

Fixed sources give 9 keys per character and 10 per account from the Season Shop, far fewer than the 154 cubes that need one. Hidden cube rewards
Both factions share the same reward list of 36 items
- Pet growth. Soul Crystals feed your pets
- Soul Binding. Soul Codex and Soul Codex: Reset
- Currency material. Silentium, which you hand in for Abyss Points or sell for Kinah
- Dungeon energy. Small Odyle Energy, which restores 10 Odyle Energy for dungeon reward cubes
- Combat consumables. Power Shards, Superior Power Shards, Mana Potions, Resurrection Spiritstones and resist scrolls
- Cosmetics. Unique helm, earring and necklace skins, the Emote: Kurukuru and Shugo transformation candies
- The top prize. Radiant Love Wings, Unique wings with 400 Defense and 35 Evasion
What a key adds to each open
A key does far more than open the cube. It switches the open to a much richer reward table

The Soul Crystal jump alone makes a key worth spending, and doubling your chance at the Radiant Love Wings is the reason players farm cubes at all
Hidden cube achievements and titles
The Who Brought the Chest? achievement pays a key at every tier, which refunds part of your key spending as you go

The full ladder pays 7 keys, 67,000 Kinah and two titles. Asmodians have only 85 cubes on their maps, so reaching 200 means opening respawned cubes over time. Treat cube hunting as a repeatable loop rather than a one time sweep
How to farm hidden cubes
- Count your keys first. On Verteron and Altgard one key equals one cube
- Buy the Season Shop keys early. 10 keys for Oath Coin is the most reliable bulk source in the game
- Start on Eltnen or Morheim. Some cubes there open for free, and their cubes sit in a few dense zones
- Sweep whole clusters. Each cube has several possible spots, so search the full area before you move on
- Clear monsters before you open. The 4 second channel breaks if mobs pull you mid open
- Check your pass missions. Battle and event passes include “Open a Hidden Cube” missions, so open cubes while those are active
