WoW Midnight Housing Guide for House Levels, Blueprints, Pets and Decor

How to get your house
Every player with Midnight gets housing automatically. The quest A House For You points you to your neighborhood, and your first house is free.

Once you own a house, the Housing Dashboard teleports you home from anywhere. Walk the zone before you claim a plot, since spots with docks, waterfalls and cliffside views go first.
How House Levels work
Your House Level sets three budgets: rooms, interior decor and exterior decor. Bigger rooms and bigger decor cost more budget, so your level decides how ambitious your build can get.

Housing XP comes from two places only.
- Collecting new decor of Uncommon quality or higher, the first time it enters your collection.
- Neighborhood Endeavors, the shared goals your neighborhood works through together.
Levels do not apply themselves. Once your XP bar fills, Horde players talk to Rotha in the Common of Razorwind Shores at /way #2351 54.0 58.4 and pick I'd like to upgrade my house. Alliance players talk to Jorvan Longmoor in the Town Center of Founder's Point.
The fastest path to Level 12 is collecting widely, not deeply. Ten different Uncommon lamps give more XP than ten copies of one, so grab one of everything a vendor sells before buying duplicates for your build.
Patch 12.1.5 housing changes
- Decor world tour. New vendors in Warlords of Draenor, Legion, Battle for Azeroth and Shadowlands zones sell themed decor for old expansion currencies.
- Cheaper crafted decor. Lumber costs dropped by 50 to 60%, advanced materials like Trillium Bar and Dark Iron Bar by over 60%, and common materials like Ghost Iron Bolts by 20 to 40%.
- Better Blueprints. Stairwells stacked across floors now export together, and the contents list only shows dyes the import will consume.
- Floor keybinds. Page Up and Page Down move between floors in floorplan editing.
Blueprints
Blueprints save your build as a code you can store, share or import. Open them from the Blueprints button in Housing Controls.

The import check is where Blueprints shine for collectors. Paste a build you like and the game turns it into a shopping list, and every new Uncommon piece on that list levels your house too. Save manually before every big change, named by room and version like "Library v3", so you can always roll back.
Pet Beds
Pet Beds turn your house into a home for your pet collection. Place a bed and assign a companion pet to it.

Horde players buy them from Agratha in Razorwind Shores at /way #2351 53.6 54.4, and Alliance players from Perry Winkles in Founder's Point at /way #2352 53.8 41.7. Their stock includes the Cozy Bird Nest, Cozy Lightbloom Lilypad, Loyal Companion's Plinth and Silvermoon Dragonhawk Incubator. Every player already owns a Crossroads Pet Cage and a Westfall Pet Cage.
Put roaming pets in your biggest open rooms, and keep stationary pets on display stands in libraries and trophy rooms.
Neighborhood Endeavors
Endeavors are shared goals your whole neighborhood works on. Completing them grants Housing XP and brings a themed vendor to your neighborhood.

Griftah pays out in Griftah's Token of Appreciation, earned from Endeavor tasks. At Amani Rank 4, Unquestionably Griftah appears near the smugglers with pieces like Griftah's Torch of Rotation.
During the Tortollan Endeavor, complete A Turtle Bade It to the Water, then visit Throska in the Dive Bar for drinkware like the K'areshi Tea Cup.
Dyes
Dyes now sit in 9 categories with one base dye each, and owning the base dye unlocks every color in its category. 15 new colors arrived in Patch 12.1, dyes take 9 bag slots instead of 72, and Alchemists and Scribes make them at the Dye station with no recipes needed.
Neighborhood decor vendors
Founder's Point and Razorwind Shores vendors also sell through the opposite neighborhood's smugglers, so both factions can shop both styles.

The holiday vendors carry Hallow's End decor right now, like the Candlelit Smiling Jack-o'-Lantern and Scarecrow Pepe. Holiday stock leaves when the event ends, so buy it while it is up.
Weekly decor you should never skip
The Last Architect offers a warbound weekly quest, A Curated Gift, which rewards an Arcanostorage Sphere with a decor piece inside. The Patch 12.1.5 decor world tour
The biggest decor drop in 12.1.5 is spread across four old expansions. New Decor Specialist vendors stand in Draenor, the Broken Isles, Argus, Kul Tiras, Zandalar and the Shadowlands, and each one sells themed decor for that expansion's currency: Garrison Resources on Draenor, Order Resources on the Broken Isles and Argus, War Resources in Kul Tiras and Zandalar and Reservoir Anima in the Shadowlands.
Most veterans have thousands of these currencies sitting untouched, so check your currency tab first. You may be able to clear a whole vendor in one visit.

The Draenor botanists are the best stop for outdoor builds, with trees, hedges and flowers that fill a big plot fast. The "Gnoma Lisa" Painting is a collector favorite that moves and pulls faces at you every so often.

Patch 12.1.5 made Battle for Azeroth and Legion reputations warbound, so one Exalted character now unlocks Hoarder Jeni's whole shop for every alt. Plan the tour around a few rules.
- Check currencies and achievements first so you only fly to vendors you can buy from.
- Send the right faction. Taania, Nuurem, Fenwir and Lancy Revshon are Alliance only, while Gril'ka and Hoarder Jeni are Horde only.
- Use the outdoor Ardenweald spots. Aithlyn and Lunelle also stand inside the Night Fae hall, but the Heart of the Forest spots are the easy stop for every covenant.
- Buy one of each first. Every new Uncommon piece is Housing XP.
Building and gold tips
- Light the yard. Lighting decor works outdoors since Patch 12.0.7, but lights need space between them, so plan their spots before you fill the plot.
- Layer cheap rugs. The Square Woolen Rug from Xiao Dan or "High Tides" Ren takes dye and layers into custom floors.
- Disarm at the door. Earn Highly Decorated in the Arcantina, then buy Bartender Bob's "No Weapons Allowed" Rack from Morta Gage to hide your weapons at home.
- Craft for XP, then sell. Cheaper materials make every crafting profession a fast lane to Level 12, and the Thalassian Recipe in a Bottle from Fishing teaches patterns like the Aetherlume Field Lamp.
