Slayer Boneshatter Build Boost: Hit Hard, Tank Everything, Keep Swinging

Slayer Boneshatter is a melee build that scales its own damage by hurting itself. Every hit generates a stack of Trauma which adds more physical damage to subsequent attacks but also deals damage back to you. The Slayer ascendancy is what keeps you alive through it. Brutal Fervour gives life overleech so your recovery keeps ticking even at full health and Endless Hunger makes that leech start instantly. Bane of Legends adds culling strike against rares and uniques while Headsman removes reflected damage and boosts your kill power.

The build handles mapping through melee splash and strike range scaling while bossing damage ramps up the longer you stay in combat as Trauma stacks accumulate. Properly geared it reaches enough physical damage mitigation to shrug off its own self-damage while putting out DPS that stun most bosses in the game.

Where it gets tricky is balancing the Trauma sustain. Too little mitigation and you kill yourself before the boss dies. Too much defense without enough damage and you're swinging for ages without clearing. Gear, flask setup, passive tree and gem links all need to work together.

HOW DOES BONESHATTER ACTUALLY WORK?

Each hit with Boneshatter generates a Trauma stack. Each stack adds physical damage to your attacks but also deals physical damage back to you every time you swing. Stacks last 6 seconds and reset at a certain threshold. The Slayer's life overleech and physical mitigation from gear and passives keep you alive through the self-damage while your actual damage output keeps climbing the longer you fight.

BASIC VS IMPROVED VS END-GAME?
