Coiled Altar Boost: Zul'jan Down, Both Trinkets, and the Last Two Bosses If You Want Them

Zul'jan is the boss of The Coiled Altar, the seventh encounter in the Venomous Abyss, and the reason this kill sells out is his loot table. He drops two trinkets, Hex Lord's Dooming Idol and Zul'jin's Guillotine Technique, plus the Pillar of the Coiled Isle housing decor and the Hex Lord's Visage cosmetic, which becomes Hex Lord's Gaze on Mythic. This is the single-boss kill specifically, for players who want to roll those drops without running all eight bosses to reach them.

KingBoost's raiders take you straight to The Coiled Altar and put Zul'jan down on Normal, Heroic or Mythic, whichever you pick at checkout. Tick the 2 last bosses option and the same run carries on into Ula'tek, which is what turns this into an Ahead of the Curve run on Heroic, or a Cutting Edge run with the Primeval Skyfriend mount on Mythic.

Need the whole tier instead? The full Venomous Abyss Heroic clear covers all eight, the 2+1 Free Run stacks three clears for the price of two to finish your tier set faster, and Glory of the Venomous Abyss Raider adds the meta achievement and its mount. If the final boss alone is what you came for, the Ula'tek Heroic kill goes straight to him and skips The Coiled Altar.

Zul'jan also guards the Altar of Fangs dungeon, so if you need him for a Mythic+ key rather than the raid, that run is the one you want. And our Venomous Abyss raid guide walks through every boss in order if you want to see what the rest of the tier looks like first.

YOU WILL GET

ADDITIONAL OPTIONS

  • Tidebound Grotto Raid Mythic - adds the Tidebound Grotto raid on Mythic to the same order

  • Place your order with all necessary options selected.

  • Once we receive your order, we’ll contact you on Discord to confirm details, such as your preferred start time.

  • If you selected the Piloted boost method:

    • Our professional booster will play on your account following all possible safety measures (e.g., VPN) according to the agreed schedule.

    • Please avoid logging into your account while the boost is in progress. If you’d like an update, feel free to message your booster directly on Discord or contact our support via LiveChat.

  • We will highly appreciate it if you leave a review on our Trustpilot page!

WHICH BOSS IS THE COILED ALTAR IN THE VENOMOUS ABYSS?
Chevron
The Coiled Altar is the seventh encounter in the Venomous Abyss, and the boss you fight there is Zul'jan. In the standard boss order he comes right before Ula'tek, the final boss of the raid, which is why a Coiled Altar boost is usually bought either on its own or together with the last boss. Our Venomous Raid guide lists all eight encounters in order if you want to learn more about the full route.
WHAT DOES ZUL'JAN DROP AT THE COILED ALTAR?
Chevron
Zul'jan has two trinkets on his loot table, Hex Lord's Dooming Idol and Zul'jin's Guillotine Technique, and they are the main reason players buy this kill instead of waiting for a full clear. He also drops the Pillar of the Coiled Isle housing decor and the Hex Lord's Visage cosmetic, which becomes Hex Lord's Gaze on Mythic difficulty. On top of that the encounter can award raid gear and tier set tokens, and everything that drops during the boost stays on your character.
HOW MANY BOSSES ARE IN THE VENOMOUS ABYSS?
Chevron
The Venomous Abyss has eight bosses. The Coiled Altar is number seven and Ula'tek closes the raid. If you only need the back half, the Venomous Abyss Mythic (2/8) option adds the first two bosses to the same order, and Add Heroic Venomous Abyss 8/8 covers the whole raid on Heroic.
CAN I GET AHEAD OF THE CURVE WITH A COILED ALTAR BOOST?
Chevron
Yes, with the "The Coiled Altar + Ula'tek" or "Add Heroic Venomous Abyss 8/8" options selected. Ahead of the Curve: Ula'tek is awarded for defeating the final boss on Heroic, so the full Heroic clear is what banks it. A Coiled Altar kill on its own gives you Zul'jan's loot and your Great Vault raid slot, but not the AOTC achievement.
WHAT DO I NEED BEFORE A COILED ALTAR CARRY?
Chevron
A level 90 character with an active subscription and access to the Venomous Abyss. You do not need any progress in the raid beforehand.
IS ZUL'JAN THE SAME BOSS AS THE ONE IN ALTAR OF FANGS?
Chevron
Yes, Zul'jan appears both at The Coiled Altar in the Venomous Abyss and in the Altar of Fangs dungeon. This page is the raid kill. If you need him for a Mythic+ key instead, the Altar of Fangs dungeon run is the right product, and the loot from the two is not the same.
HOW LONG DOES A COILED ALTAR BOOST TAKE?
Chevron
Kill itself takes 5-10 minutes max. Start time depends on the schedule. We have 30+ spots every day available. Runs are scheduled with you in Discord and the raid lockout resets weekly, so timing depends on the difficulty you pick and your raid ID. Feel free to check up with live chat support or your discord support agent to get the closest raid spot in the schedule to book your Coiled Altar Kill!
DO I KEEP THE GEAR AND GOLD FROM THE RUN?
Chevron
Everything that you managed to roll out during the boost stays with you - trinkets, tier tokens, the housing decor, crests, the cosmetic and all gold picked up along the way. Your Great Vault raid slot is filled for the week as well, which means an extra reward choice at the next weekly reset!
