Black Temple is the raid every TBC player remembers. Nine bosses winding through Illidan's fortress in Shadowmoon Valley, the Naj'entus impale opener, the Reliquary of Souls phases, Mother Shahraz beam dance, the Illidari Council and finally Illidan Stormrage himself shouting "You are not prepared!" as the gates open. 

The loot is on the same level as the encounter design. T6 chest tokens drop from Illidan, T6 leg tokens from the Illidari Council and T6 shoulder tokens from Mother Shahraz, completing the Tier 6 progression alongside Mount Hyjal. Illidan also has a chance to drop the Warglaive of Azzinoth main hand and Warglaive of Azzinoth off hand, the legendary set worn by the Betrayer himself, plus Madness of the Betrayer from the Illidari Council that holds a BiS-tier slot for physical DPS through the rest of the expansion.

WHAT IS THE CHANCE OF GETTING THE WARGLAIVES?

Each Warglaive has a roughly 7-10% drop chance per Illidan kill, and they are unique drops independent of each other. Both can drop on the same kill or neither. The Warglaives are personal loot items that go to the buyer if they roll on a Full Loot Priority run. We cannot guarantee the drop on any specific clear, but multiple Illidan kills across consecutive lockouts stack your odds significantly.

I had a really great experience with…
