Mythic drops ilvl 272–282 gear — the highest item level available in Season 1. This includes weapons, armor, trinkets, and accessories with unique appearance variations. Tier set tokens also drop from specific bosses with Mythic appearance tints.

Mythic introduces entirely new mechanics, adds extra boss phases, dramatically increases damage output, and enforces strict raid composition requirements. Boss health pools roughly double and healing requirements skyrocket. Most fights require 20 raiders compared to Heroic's flexible 10-30 player scaling.

Cutting Edge: Crown of the Cosmos is a Feat of Strength for defeating the final boss on Mythic difficulty before the next raid tier releases. It's one of the rarest PvE achievements and expires when Season 2 launches.

The Hall of Fame lists the first 200 guilds per faction to clear Mythic. While boost runs don't grant guild credit, you'll still receive the Cutting Edge achievement and full gear benefits.

Mythic difficulty unlocks March 24, 2026 — one week after Heroic. Unlike other difficulties, Mythic operates on a weekly lockout and does not have cross-realm support until later in the season.
