The Lucent Citadel itself is an ancient laboratory once used by the Daedric Prince Ithelia, where she experimented with reality and light. Defeating Xoryn is the culmination of the trial, allowing adventurers to stabilize the chaotic energies of the West Weald and claim the treasures hidden within the vault.
