Caster DPS first. Warlocks get the most out of it and many keep it equipped well past Phase 3. Mages, Shadow Priests, Balance Druids and Elemental Shamans all run it happily. Healers can use it, though it is usually handed to DPS before it reaches them.

Not before you order. The attunement chain runs through Arcatraz, Serpentshrine Cavern, Tempest Keep and Hyjal, and if you have not finished it you can add the Mount Hyjal and Black Temple attunements to this order at checkout. Already attuned, nothing changes on the price of the trinket itself.

Two reasons stack. Illidan is the final boss, so there is no partial clear that gets you there, and the drop rate sits around fifteen percent. Even a guild clearing weekly can go a month without seeing it, and then it still has to survive the loot council.
