What is Guardians of Fortune in Sea of Thieves?

Guardians of Fortunes is one of the factions in the pirate PvPvE project that features the rank system. Players can increase their rank with them by representing this organization in PvP battles against other players. Winning in the PvP confrontation grants lots of factional points, while losing gives only a small amount of reputation. While destroying enemy ships in PvP is the most profitable way to earn reputational points, you can also boost your allegiance by selling Reaper Emissary flags under the Athena Emissary flag.

What rewards do Guardians of Fortune give?

Players can unlock various cosmetics by earning reputation points with the Guardiands of Fortune faction. There are rewards for specific allegiance level milestones starting from level 20 up to 1000. Reaching those milestones allows players to purchase items for gold, such as ship cosmetics, Curses, character outfits, and other things.

Why is it hard to farm Guardians of Fortune reputation?

Players may experience difficulties due to a random situation that occurs during PvP. The most profitable way to gain reputation points is to make enemy ships sink. To do it on a regular basis and maximize the effectiveness of farming, the player must be a pro in terms of PvP battles to prevail in all encounters. However, matchmaking isn’t always fair, and the player may stumble upon a more skilled enemy and lose the battle. Losing grants a smaller amount of reputational points, so it may take much more time to achieve the desired allegiance level. Besides, solo gameplay is much more risky when it comes to ship battles. If the player doesn’t have a crew to engage in PvP, it may result in losing more than winning.
