Red Needle Bleed Build Boost - Katana Acquired, Bleed Setup Ready

The Red Needle Katana is one of the fastest unique weapons in Crimson Desert, landing multiple hits in the time a greatsword lands one. It comes with a Critical Hit Multiplier that makes its damage scaling stronger than most other swords in the game. The bleed side of the build comes from Piercing Bloom, the Abyss Core that gives the Red Needle a blood-based attack capable of dealing heavy damage to enemies when applied correctly.

The weapon itself isn't tied to any quest which means most players simply miss it. It sits inside the Sanctum of Oblation on a small island on the eastern edge of Delesyia, behind a lantern puzzle that unlocks the chest. Delesyia sits on the far eastern side of the map and getting there means traveling through territory that is hostile to low-level characters, with enemies that attack on sight during the early story chapters. Once you have the weapon you still need to source and slot Piercing Bloom, configure the full Abyss setup and unlock the Bleed skill to make the build functional.

Piercing Bloom is an Abyss Core that gives the Red Needle a bleed-style ability, enabling a powerful blood-based attack that deals heavy damage to enemies. It is purchased from a vendor in Thalywind and then taken to a Witch to be attached to the weapon.
