TBC Anniversary Madness of the Betrayer Boost - Black Temple Physical DPS Trinket

Madness of the Betrayer is the trinket every physical DPS in your raid is going to roll on the moment it drops. Passive armor penetration, attack power and an on-hit crit proc, all in one slot, with no fight-specific limitations and no on-use cooldown to babysit. Rogues, Fury Warriors, Arms Warriors, Hunters, Enhancement Shamans, Feral Druids and Ret Paladins all want it, and most of them want it for the entire remainder of the expansion. It is one of the few trinkets in TBC that holds its slot from Black Temple all the way through Sunwell.

The trinket drops from the Illidari Council, the second-to-last encounter in Black Temple. The drop rate sits around 15% per kill and once it does drop you are still rolling against every other physical DPS in the raid who is not already wearing it. The competition combined with the lockout cap creates the real pain.

Pick your class and KingBoost's pro team handles the full farm. Fresh Black Temple clears every week until Madness of the Betrayer is in your bags, with the trinket secured to your character on drop. All gold, gear, materials and any other rewards picked up during the runs stay on your account.

Illidan does not hand out one thing at a time. If you are already going for Madness of the Betrayer, the Skull of Gul'dan and the Syphon of the Nathrezim come off the same kill. Want the whole tier instead of one trinket? The Phase 3 All Raids Bundle covers Hyjal and Black Temple together, and the Black Temple attunement opens the door if you are not through the chain yet.

YOU WILL GET

  • Madness of the Betrayer epic trinket
  • BiS for Melee DPS
  • Black Temple raid completion
  • Chance to get loot and raid rewards

ADDITIONAL OPTIONS

  • Mount Hyjal + Black Temple Attunements - Both Phase 3 doors at once. The Vials of Eternity for Hyjal Summit and the Medallion of Karabor chain with Akama for Black Temple, which is also 40 Shadow Resistance you will want on Mother Shahraz. Together they open the full Tier 6 set, the Ashtongue Deathsworn trinkets and every Illidan drop including the Warglaives.
