Buy Warglaive of Azzinoth: The Most Recognised Weapon in the Game

Item level 156, higher than anything else in Black Temple, and the only legendary weapons in The Burning Crusade. The Warglaive of Azzinoth main hand and its off hand partner were carried by Illidan Stormrage himself, cut from the demon Azzinoth, and they look like nothing else a Rogue or Warrior can equip. Dual wielding the pair is the single most recognisable thing a character can do in this expansion. People stop and inspect. Twenty years of World of Warcraft and these are still the weapons everybody knows on sight.

Since Illidan carries the rest of it too, Black Temple covers the full clear, the Phase 3 All Raids Bundle adds Hyjal on top, and the BT and Hyjal attunements open the door.

Yes. Order the main hand, the off hand, or the pair. Most people going for these want both, since dual wielding them is the whole point and a single Warglaive is a very good weapon rather than an iconic one.

WHICH CLASSES CAN USE THEM?

One-hand swords, so Rogues and Warriors are the main takers. The item level puts them above everything else available in the slot, which is why they are still chased long after other Black Temple loot has been replaced.

DO I NEED TO BE ATTUNED FIRST?

Not before ordering. The Black Temple chain runs through Arcatraz, Serpentshrine Cavern, Tempest Keep and Hyjal, and the Mount Hyjal and Black Temple attunements can be added at checkout.
