It is a three-stage event exclusive to the Dire Marsh map. Around 14 to 15 minutes into a run three large UESC ships appear over three points of interest. You have to work through them in order, fighting waves of enemies at each location and carrying the Lockdown Drive from one container to the next. Each crate rewards better loot than the last.

A few reasons. The event spawns late so you have limited time. Entering the corruption field without Anti-Virus Packs damages you constantly. Each ship requires clearing three waves of UESC enemies including heavy purple-shielded units. You also have to survive other Runner squads who come for the same loot and you cannot drop the Lockdown Drive or lose it in a fight. Most runs fall apart somewhere in that chain.

The final container has some of the best loot available in a Dire Marsh match including purple tier upgrade materials that are valuable for faction progression. You also pick up rare codex items, narrative collectibles and standard high tier gear throughout the run.
