You bring a Holotag into each match which sets your score target, loss penalty and overperformance capacity. Your crew must loot enough high-value items and successfully exfil to earn Rated Points and advance.

Holotags are Ranked-specific items that correspond to Marathon's rank tiers. You can purchase them up to your current rank or loot them off opposing Runners. They set your score target for the match and without one you cannot queue for Ranked.

High Stakes requires at least a Platinum Holotag and 10,000 gear value to enter. It features better loot but significantly harder competition and higher stakes on a failed extraction.

Master sits above Pinnacle and is reserved for the top 500 players on the server. It is the highest achievable rank in Marathon's competitive mode.

At the end of each season you earn unique Ranked rewards based on the highest rank you achieved during that period. Cosmetic rewards are permanent and carry over every season.
