Turning Slash Fire Build Boost - Skills Unlocked, Weapons Ready

Turning Slash is a spinning overhead strike that at Level 3 ignores super armor and gives you immunity frames while you use it. Pairing it with Imbue Element adds fire damage to every hit, and Volcanic Eruption on top of that triggers an explosive effect each time a fire-imbued attack lands. The result is three stacking effects on a single input: the fire damage from the elemental imbue, the Volcanic Eruption explosion from the Abyss Gear and the Wound of Darkness burst from the skill, making Turning Slash a one-button damage engine that chains all three triggers together.

The build works with two weapon paths. The dual one-handed setup uses the Sword of the Lord paired with the Tauria Curved Sword. Both weapon options need Level 3 Attack Power Abyss Gear upgrades before the build hits its ceiling. Flame Strike is unlocked via the Tree of Slumber and Imbue Element requires Flame Strike Level 1 before it becomes available. Wound of Darkness is the third required skill completing the combo loop. Getting all three skills plus the right Abyss setup across your chosen weapons is the full scope of what this boost covers.

You press R1 and R2 to perform Turning Slash then follow with the fire elemental imbue via L2 and R2. The pattern stops bosses from attacking and stacks fire damage, Volcanic Eruption explosions and Wound of Darkness simultaneously.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE DUAL WIELD AND GREATSWORD OPTION?

The dual wield path uses the Sword of the Lord and Tauria Curved Sword for faster combo speed and parry access. The Darkbringer greatsword path trades that for heavier hits and a 35% Turning Slash damage bonus from the Leather Helm of the Fallen Kingdom when combined with the full build setup.

WHERE IS THE DARKBRINGER?

Darkbringer is found in the White Wastes Sanctuary in northern Pailune, lodged inside the jaw of a giant partially unearthed skeleton. No boss fight is required to collect it.

So far
