What is the Vault of Glass Memento in D2?

You can acquire the memento from the VoG raid by finishing the activity during one session. It means that your team must complete every stage of the raid without leaving to orbit.

What is it hard to get the VoG Memento in Destiny 2?

There are several reasons why it might be challenging to obtain Memento in the Vault of Glass:

  • Not enough experience in the VoG raid. Even if you’ve completed dozens of raids in the past, you still need to learn the mechanics of the specific raid to succeed; 
  • DPS Checks. The last encounter of the instance, Atheon, is a serious challenge in terms of DPS checks. To defeat the boss, you must do your best to eliminate the giant Vex Minotaur in at least two damage phases;
  • Unforgiving wipe mechanics. The activity features the oracle mechanic that can cause an instant wipe on the 5th encounter. If an oracle is destroyed incorrectly, the system wipes your team;
  • Gathering a strong team. Finding a raid team to dive into activities from the previous seasons might be challenging. Many players prefer to farm activities when they are fresh, and then forget about them for months.
