How to get Trials Memento in Destiny 2?

Trials Memento is a cosmetic item earned solely in the Trials of Osiris PvP mode. In Destiny 2, mementos unlock exclusive shaders on your weapons, and this one isn’t an exception. The shader is called Gleaming Keepsake, and it’s the most recognizable one in the community for a reason. It paints your weapon with a beautiful animated texture that looks awesome on most legendary weapons. The fact that there are no similar shaders in the project makes it unique and distinctive.

Why is it hard to get Trials Memento in D2?

Many guardians have to pass on the rare Trials Memento, since Trials Memento is obtained only in challenging Trials of Osiris. To be more specific, it’s required to win 5 matches in a row without losing with Lighthouse Passage purchased. Here’s why the game mode poses difficulties for many players:

• Pinnacle PvP activity. In Trials, you need to break a sweat to win a round, since all the best players come here to compete. If your build or play style has flaws, this mode will quickly show them to you; 
• Unforgiving experience. To earn the associated memento, you must gain victory in 5 matches successively. One lost match will reset your progress, and it’s frustrating. Depending on your luck and skill, it may take many hours before you perform a win streak; 
• Team-based mode. You can play the mode solo, but you will always get random teammates, whom you can’t rely on. Strangers don’t care about your win streak, so they can go AFK or get disconnected for whatever reason. The 3x3 mode involves eliminating all the opposite enemies. And if you are 2 against 3, you are at a severe disadvantage.
