You can combine the farm with Alysrazor in the same run and get two rare mount chances per lockout. Unlike the Flametalon, this one actually flies. The Pureblood Fire Hawk model is one of the most recognisable flying mounts from the Cataclysm era and it still holds up.

Normal and Heroic difficulties have separate lockouts, giving each character two Ragnaros kills per week. The run itself is short at current level and the boss dies in seconds.
