Challenge Mode for the medals, transmog sets and teleports, where skill beats gear since everyone's scaled to 463. The Temple of the Jade Serpent medal tier (Gold, Silver or Bronze) is selectable for Challenge runs.

Heroic dungeons drop 463 ilvl loot, with each final boss carrying a chance at a 476 epic. Normal runs gear you up while leveling. Challenge Mode itself awards cosmetic rewards rather than gear drops, since its loot is normalized.
