ABOUT NECHROCHASM CATALYST

The Necrochasm is a new raid exotic and is the last of the known Weapons of Sorrow, alongside Thorn, Touch of Malice, and Osteo Striga. Its exotic trait, the Cursebringer, has a chance to trigger powerful explosions similar to those of the Hive Thrall ones.

Once you've completed the Bottomless Pit Exotic Quest and obtained the weapon, you can proceed to the Crota's End raid with the fireteam and go through the Time Trial with two special encounters that require you to deal with powerful Crota's Minions within the challenging time limit. Going in with the professional fireteam is the best way to obtain the Catalyst without wasting hours of your time on the attempts.

Once the Trial is complete, you will get the Exotic Catalyst obtained.
