Pit of Saron is a Wrath of the Lich King dungeon set in the saronite mines beneath Icecrown Citadel. It features three bosses: Forgemaster Garfrost, Krick and Ick as well as Scourgelord Tyrannus. This is the first WotLK dungeon to enter the M+ rotation.

M+ keys scale gear rewards higher based on the key level completed. All difficulties contribute to Great Vault progress and Dawncrest stack. 

The gauntlet section between the second and third boss features falling ice, constant add spawns and tight corridors. Groups that don't know the safe spots or try to rush through will wipe repeatedly. Forgemaster Garfrost also punishes groups that ignore his Permafrost stacking debuff.

You can add any dungeon from the Midnight Season 1 rotation including Seat of the Triumvirate, Skyreach, Algeth'ar Academy or the new Midnight dungeons to complete more of your weekly goals in one session.
